When identifying primary sources you should analyze the context to be sure the information you are receiving is factual. It is important to know where your information is coming from. We can use Rael’s PAPER technique (purpose, argument, presumptions, epistemology, and relations to other texts.) Analyzing who you’re getting information from, when it was published, and identifying their main purpose for writing the piece will give some insight on if the source is as reliable as may seem.
